Server has been updated to 1.2.5. Changes are as follows.

    Changes
-Nether is back! It has a nasty habit of kicking you out at random spots but it is usable. Available on clans, survival, and build
-The end should be visit-able on survival now.

    Bug Fixes
-/help should have all updated info now.
-wilderness portals should no longer suffocate you in clans. (still a tiny chance of it if you have a slow connection)
-Guests can now accept teleport requests.
-Fixed a fatal crash bug, server should be more stable now.

    UPDATE:
    -/me works again
-/who and tab now show colors and work properly!

    "Updated to 1.2.5" :p
    Or is it...
But Nether and End, yay! :D

I've lowered server restart time to every 2 hours until I feel the server is stable enough to go longer. Thanks for understanding.

afaik people get spawned in the same place (i saw you and boemen). They dig a bit and land in my house which is just about 5 blocks away where people spawn.
If i would close the hole where you spawn, you would all die in the wall. Only my portal (there might be another one) teleports me to my nether portal into my house.
All others land in the same place, in this case the ground. This only counts for build.

Yeah nether portals are a bit weird. But its better than not having them at all.

    Mispelled obfuscator?

EDIT: The forums even think it's spelled wrong when it's written correctly. ಠ_ಠ

I'm guessing that the obfuscation thingy is that a person sees one thing and then when they try to mine it, it's another. I went into a mine back a while (maybe it has been in testing for a while), there were several tunnels where nearly all the walls and floors looked like iron, but after trying to mine a block of iron (ore), a little maybe 3x3 area of iron would 'disappear' and would become stone (similar to the error of vines on stone). I would try to mine another iron block and another small area would 'disappear', etc. Hopefully, the obfuscation thingy doesn't go so wild (as maybe in that instance) that a player would eventually ignore real 'iron' or mine tremendously with no results (sort of).

Smonkey we have been running that plugin for ages, it never really caused problems, in fact almost every server runs it now.

I had commented (~at the time) to another player about the huge amount of (fake) iron ore (though i only mined a few places and had the notion it was just an illusion like vines on stone) and they seemed to say it was due to a plugin (i had the impression the plugin was related to anti-x-ray-hacking). I pointed out that since there was so much fake ore, maybe something valuable was near and they seemed to think that if mined, nothing out of the ~ordinary would likely be found. (Incidently i found my first 'cave spider' there and died from it - i didn't previously know they are nearly inescapable for the unprepared :))

I think the plugin could maybe cause problems (as it was) particularly if people dont know it exists.

I got the impression from a conversation yesterday that there is a plugin that makes some 'fake' buried ore, but that as the 'fake' ore is uncovered it 'reverts' back to its original form (thus explaining how blocks sometimes initially look like iron or diamonds, etc for a split second and then apparently change into stone.) *wonders if the former was a glitch of the latter*
